39th LD Democrats Mardi Gras Celebration and Fundraiser

On Feb 13th, 2010, Come Celebrate Mardi Gras with the 39th LD Democrats!

Join the 39th LD Democrats on Saturday, February 13th for a night of Cajun Dinner and Music to celebrate Mardi Gras.

Dinner at 7:00 pm
Ticket price includes a buffet Cajun dinner of:
  • Gumbo (2 types: seafood and vegetarian)
  • Cornbread
  • Slaw
  • with a Cash Bar
Live Music starts at 8:30 pm
Live music provided by "Nameless", a keyboard, bass and drums band originally out of San Francisco plus singer guitarist Dan "Mudcat" McKinstry. The trio plays anything and with Mudcat they emphasize "The Roots of Rock and Roll"
Our own finance chair and musician Mike Dumovich will even join them for a few tunes and will introduce the future hit "The 39th Boogie".

Fifteen gets you in, but don't pass up showing a little more Mardi Gras support if you are able:

  • A Depleted Uranium Weapons Resolution
  • Discussion with our State Party Committeeman and Committeewoman on the upcoming Congressional District Nomination of Rick Larsen. CD Nominations may come from the State Central Committee this year instead of CD Caucuses, let's discuss the process and the voting options with our state party representatives.
  • An overview of next year's caucus process, with possibly no precinct caucuses!
