39th LD Democrats Mardi Gras Celebration and Fundraiser

On Feb 13th, 2010, Come Celebrate Mardi Gras with the 39th LD Democrats!

Join the 39th LD Democrats on Saturday, February 13th for a night of Cajun Dinner and Music to celebrate Mardi Gras.

Dinner at 7:00 pm

Ticket price includes a buffet Cajun dinner of:

Gumbo (2 types: seafood and vegetarian)
Cornbread
Slaw
with a Cash Bar

Live Music starts at 8:30 pm

Live music provided by "Nameless", a keyboard, bass and drums band originally out of San Francisco plus singer guitarist Dan "Mudcat" McKinstry. The trio plays anything and with Mudcat they emphasize "The Roots of Rock and Roll"

39th LD PCO/Member Social at The Shire

Greetings fellow Democrats of the 39th LD!

So far it has been all work, but we are providing a social venue for everyone to get to know their fellow members of the 39th.

All PCOs and members are welcome at the Shire in Arlington on Wednesday May 20th at 7:00 pm.

Music – no cover

The Shire building is what was an old, historic church of Spanish style architecture.

Come meet some fellow PCOs, enjoy seeing how the building has been restored.

Food and Beverages available; non and alcoholic; sandwiches, pizza, calzone... full menu available.

I've personally met the owners of the Shire, and they are VERY MUCH Democrats. We are on friendly ground here, folks, so lets let our hair down a little!
